Case study
Shape the narrative
Turning a viral moment into global authority
CazéTV · LiveMode
LiveMode operates CazéTV, one of Brazil's biggest sports destinations, and is expanding abroad with Cristiano Ronaldo as a partner. It is rebuilding how sport reaches its own fans, pairing premium rights with creator-led broadcasts. That shift was well underway at home, but the global press had not yet caught up to the whole story.
Goal
LiveMode had been reshaping live sports in Brazil, but the international media had not caught up. When Cape Verde's goalkeeper Vozinha went viral during the 2026 World Cup, the world read it as a spontaneous, global wave. It was not. The movement had started on CazéTV. Content CO partnered with LiveMode to turn that moment into something durable: position the company in the global press as the very player rewriting how fans watch live sport today.
Strategy
- Riding the Vozinha moment: used the goalkeeper's breakout to set the record straight, showing that a Brazilian creator-led broadcast turned an unknown player into a worldwide phenomenon.
- Building the bigger narrative: brought new angles that reinforced the positioning, including data showing streaming lifted Brazil's total World Cup audience.
- Social listening as pitch fuel: ran fan-behavior studies during the World Cup that gave the press original, ownable data on how different countries follow soccer and how that ties back to the stories CazéTV tells.
